Rifle Range Flats district strikes by the verticality of its high-rise blocks and the tension generated by proximity of the Penang Hill. The radicality of this piece of modern architecture heritage calls today for a new highlight. The feeling of density is extreme and needs to be counterbalanced by generous new visual openings towards the adjacent landscape.
